Concert: The 1975 (22/7/2014)
The other night I had the pleasure of attending The 1975’s concert in Singapore. I’ve loved their music for a pretty long time now, so going to see them live was something I had been hoping for! It was absolutely surreal, seeing one of my favourite bands playing live, and to be in the front row made my friends and I even more excited! The crowd was mental when they came on stage (which only seemed natural) and for us be able to sing along to their songs definitely put a smile on their faces! The 1975 gave off a very relaxed, casual vibe when playing - which I really loved! There was also such a talented saxophonist who played on stage with them, his name; John Waugh.
I couldn’t be more happy, it was so amazing and I hope to be attending another one of their shows, as it was just that good!
On the morning of the 23rd I headed off to Bali where I am going to be spending a couple of days here (so a Bali travel diary will be up once I’m back!)
At the airport I was lucky enough to be able to meet The 1975 again as they are heading off to Australia for more shows (a hectic schedule). I met backstage crew and actually managed to have a lovely conversation with them over breakfast, so thank you for being extremely approachable!
A special thanks to all of the members of The 1975 (Ross, Adam, George and Matty) and Leon Banks!
